You capture flags in bases simply by being near the flag pole, and the more players near a flag, the faster you capture. You can play as a 'lone wolf', but it's much more fun and interesting playing cooperatively. There are a variety of vehicles that spawn on the maps during a game, from jeeps to fighter planes.īattlefield 1942 encourages teamwork, whether it's two or three players teaming up to man a tank and guns, or just infantry storming a base with sniper cover. The different classes of soldiers you can play are well balanced against each other, with snipers, infantry and so on.
